Here at Outside Lives we are fortunate to have received funding from DVSC which will enable us to offer free sessions at our site for unpaid carers. The aim of this funding is to explore what carers want to see and what would help them to 'rest and reset'.

Further to this, we are thrilled to be offered match funding from NEWCIS who are enabling us to extend our offer to carers in Flintshire!

We are therefore looking for local carers who would benefit from some of our sessions… and totally FREE of charge.

All sessions would be held at our site in Gwernymydd.

We have a number of different spaces; the yurt, the woodland, the cabin... and the nook which is being built at the moment!

Sessions include (but not limited to):

• Yoga and movement
• Guided relaxation
• Sewing Workshops
• Coaching - for wellbeing (various themes to choose form)
• Into the Woods – Campfire & Craft
• Various Massage Options
• Meditation
• Reiki
• Various Art / Creative Sessions
• Reflexology
• Mindfulness
• Wonderful Watercolours

We would also like to codesign new sessions with carers, creating bespoke solutions that really make a difference.

All that we would ask from the carers is to answer some very basic questions which will help us to make sure that we are on the right track with our offers and improve!

We hope that our space will be used by people who need an opportunity to recharge their batteries.
