Who We Are Meet Our Team Anastacia Ackers Hi, I'm Anastacia. I'm a theatre practitioner, writer, and facilitator from Flintshire, where I live with my partner and two small children. I'm passionate about using the arts as a catalyst for social change and my work explores socio-political issues alongside utilising the arts and their benefits on individual and community health. At Outside Lives, I support wherever I can, both volunteering my time and also leading some wonderful projects such as Singing In The Rain and The Hopeful Gardener, our beautiful and emotive dementia awareness project that features one of our wonderful volunteers, Teresa. I am also leading The History of Here - a wonderful project that aims to uncover the history and legends of our local areas. WHERE'S HOME? Home is Sychdyn! I'm only two doors away from my Mum and Dad which is lovely. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME? In my spare time, I love watching films, reading, going out with the kids and my partner, the theatre (when it reopens!) and writing. WHAT DO YOU GROW? I'm trying to grow some plants at the moment but I'm a bit useless with them so may need some advice from the Dig In gang! Other than that, I grow ideas mainly! WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO? Currently listening to Haim's Women in Music album, Coldplay's 'Higher Power' and some Billy Ocean! WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE SEASON? I love all the seasons! There's a bit about all of them that's magical!
